My Son was married this weekend!
We mixed elegant with rustic
and had a big celebration,
barn dance style.
Rachel had a vision of
burlap and poms,
even on the card bucket.
We included chalkboards too,
Mason Jars and Wine Bottles.
Photos,
Flowers,
Charms,
remembering loved ones.
So there was handmade detail
in all of the decorations.
I hope to post some tutorials
on the tea-stained poms,
vintage photo in frame,
burlap bows,
and the wine bottle and mason jar centerpieces.
If there is anything you see
that you would like details on making,
just let me know.
Marriage blessings
to
Rachel and Scott!
What a great weekend,
Deb

Oh what a beautiful couple and a gorgeous wedding! I love the mix of rustic and elegant! Huge congratulations to the happy couple!
Congratulations Deb! What a beautiful couple. My daughter got married last August and I must say that it looks like they had similar weddings. We used burlap and pompoms, mason jars for the table flowers and so much handmade detail. What a beautiful time you all must have had! I suspect you had your hand in the decor!! Cheers to the happy couple and to your new family member!!
Congratulations!

I am loving every detail of the wedding. How incredibly beautiful. I'm sure it was a treat for everyone in attendance.
Congratulations! It all looks absolutely lovely! Thanks so much for sharing at Knick of Time Tuesday - I'm sharing on the KoT Facebook page!
Congratulations Deb, that's so exciting! You've been busy, haven't you? I'll bet you did quite a bit of that yourself, didn't you? I would love to see how the chalkboards were done too. I'm always so amazed at how nicely the type comes out when people hand draw them. Did you do them? You may have already posted a chalkboard tutorial about them some other time. I'll have to search your blog and see. Can't wait to see the other tutorials. Have a great day!
Debbie
So thankful for all of your comments and visits!
Debbie - On the chalkboards I use a special chalk set that I have with different pencils and finer chalk squares. It allows a little more finesse.
So pretty...so many lovely details :)
So many beautiful details! "The Best is Yet to Come" sign is so lovely and sweet! Congratulations to your family!

Beautiful. Love the rustic elegance of the burlap with the "Poms" and the beautiful flowers... the couple looks lovely and happy (congratulations...to you too! New mama in law...)
My sister is getting married in a little less than a month, with a country/rustic theme. This is all so inspiring. Thanks for sharing it.
What a beautiful setting. Love the details. Congratulations to the lovely couple.
Oh, that looks like such a lovely wedding celebration! Congratulations all around!
What a lovely wedding. I love the decor and the bride and groom look awesome in that photo. I am thinking that is corn field in the back. What a wonderful photo. A corn field is the normal sight out my daughter's back door. This year it is soy bean but I love the view of the corn.
Have a blessed weekend and get some rest. You probably need it. Ginger
I love the burlap details! I'm helping my best friend plan her upcoming wedding which will also have a rustic theme - we just celebrated her bridal shower this past weekend and tried to add some rustic touches.
What a beautiful wedding! You can see your handy work thru out the whole room. Lovely job Deb. Dee from My Painted Stuff
