As cool Summer Nights
and
Warm Summer Days
approach,
Outdoor Living Spaces
are calling us to
Come....Sit....Enjoy.
My Aunt Cheryl has just one of those spaces.
This is such a nice little protected area from wind.
She has multiple gardens that surround the space.
This is the view from Lakeside.
Her new "Love Lake Life" signs
were just the pop of color she needed in the space.
And the fun thing is that they are very visible from the boat
when passing by.
She has a fern and Hosta garden along side of the house.
With water blue color pops.
There is another inviting seating area
on the other side of the house.
With all of her lush green landscape,
she decided that some colorful lake signs
would really punch up the seating area by her garage.
I used many of the colors
that were in her garden and lake surround.
I used the dip and drag method that I use in
many of my Projects.
So inviting.
A Relaxing Place for
Morning Coffee,
and a good friend.
Hope you have a great week,
Deb

Your yard makes me smile :o)
Love the signs! Great job!
Hi Deb! These signs are just amazing! I love, love, love, your paint technique...it is so very interesting looking AND it looks easy to do. Thanks for sharing the "how to"s. I saw your post over at "Between Naps on the Porch".
Deb,
I absolutely love the way the signs turned out and the lettering just pops out too. I swear I'm going to try your "dip and drag" technique soon. Still searching for that just the right piece to do it on. You did another fabulous job~I love seeing all that you do. Such inspiration!
Thanks, Jana!
Well you won't have any trouble with the paint technique. I saw your cute little handpainted flowers on the fun yellow chair,
Deb
Hi Deb,
I just found your blog through Debbiedoo's and I'm so glad I did! I just bookmarked your dip and drag paint technique because I think it's wonderful! I can't wait to use it!
Thanks Shannon!
Hope you try it,
Deb
Nice, you're inspiring me to make some for our lake house!
What a neat project! YOu don't often see Lake signs in brighter colors, but I love it! It is my dream to someday live by a lake, and I am sure I would LOVE LAKE LIFE! Your painting is awesome! I have become a new follower. :)
You Will love lake life. There is something so peaceful about the water. (Water sports and boating are great too!)
Deb

Debbie
Just wanted you to know I'm looking for inspiration to paint a sign and guess where I popped in to snoop around?
Now I have too much inspiration, you always do beautiful stuff.
