Let the chirping begin.
April 1st is right around the corner.
I can hear all of the bird busyness
outside of my window.
That's inspiration for an art project!
Happy Birds and Happy Art.
Though I've always painted the old fashioned way -
I'm learning to digitally paint in photoshop too.
I was a little resistant at first,
but now I love my new computer brush friends.
It's a challenge to achieve the layered texture
that I love
but I'm having fun with something new.
So, here is some computer art
for your April 2013 .
Click Here to download your page.
(this will take you to my pdf file.
There will be a lot of "blinkin" download buttons.
You want the one in the middle
that says Robin Eggs April 2013)
I am loving all of the Spring Bird action
here at the lake.
Yesterday we had some pelicans visit.
They will only stay a short time
Have a great Easter Weekend,
Deb

is going out all over the world.
It is changing lives everywhere
just as it did yours

and understood the truth
about God's
great kindness to sinners"

Such a cute project! Good job Deb and Happy Spring to you!
ReplyDeletegreat job Deb! how did you get the swirl on the wing? Do you use a wacom?
ReplyDeleteHi Heidi,
ReplyDeleteOh I wish I had a Wacom tablet. But no, I use the good old mouse which means I have to do one of two things for swirls:
1 - Pencil a swirl on paper, scan it in, select and paste. or
2 - Make a straight line in photoshop then warp or sphere to get a swirl that I like.
Do you do computer art?
Thanks for stopping by,
Deb
You are amazing!!!! I love this little birdie April calendar. I still love to write everything down on paper, so you bet I'll be downloading your ARTWORK!
ReplyDeleteHappy and Blessed Easter!

Love it Deb! You're so talented. Do you ever get tired of me saying that? I'm impressed that you are able to not only paint with real paints, but digitally too. I've not mastered painting in Photoshop. I have a hard enough time painting anything the old fashioned way! Love this sweet little April calendar.
